Salon Owner & Master Hair Stylist Hello! I’m Shawn, and I’m thrilled to be the owner of dé-al Salon, bringing 33 years of hairstyling experience to this exciting new chapter. My passion for making people feel great about themselves drives everything I do. I’ve honed my craft through extensive education at Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and New York, as well as Vidal Sassoon in New York. My specialization in Aveda products and techniques, combined with my broad knowledge of the salon industry, allows me to bring vibrant life and style to every client’s hair. What I love most about being a stylist is the opportunity to make my clients feel refreshed and beautiful. Seeing their confidence and satisfaction is incredibly rewarding. A little about me: I’m a proud mother to a wonderful boy, and I cherish spending my free time exploring new places and going on adventures with my son. Loriann Melchiorre

I’m Loriann Melchiorre, and I bring over 40 years of expertise and passion to the world of hairstyling. My journey began in 1982 with the opening of dé-al Salon in New York, and since relocating to Wichita, Kansas, in 1994, I’ve established myself as a leading stylist in the area. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to mastering the art of hairstyling and sharing my knowledge with others. In the early 90s, I served as an educator for Schwarzkopf, where I trained numerous professionals in advanced techniques. My specialties include color services, color correction, body waves, women’s haircuts, and styling. I hold certifications in Hotheads Extensions, Brazilian Blowout, Rejuvenol, and Keratin Complex Treatments, ensuring that my clients receive the latest and most effective treatments available. I’m licensed in both New York and Kansas and completed my education at Ultissima in New York. My career has been enriched by the friendships I’ve made with my clients, who inspire me to deliver personalized, exceptional service with a commitment to excellence. With a deep understanding of hairstyling techniques and a creative touch, I look forward to transforming and enhancing your hair with precision and flair. Master Stylist Hello! I’m Sara Lujano, and I bring 16 years of experience to the world of cosmetology, with 15 of those years spent at dé-al Salon. My passion for the beauty industry has always driven me, and I chose this career to work closely with people and help them feel their best. I trained at Eric Fisher Academy, where I honed my skills in color and Brazilian Blowout treatments. These are my specialties, and I’m deeply passionate about them. I’m also certified in Aqua Hair Extensions, Rejuvenate, and Keratin Complex Treatments, which allows me to offer a wide range of top-notch services to meet your hair needs. What I love most about being a stylist is the daily opportunity to unleash my creativity and enhance my clients' beauty and confidence. Valrey Peebler - Stylist Hello! I’m Valrey Peebler, a passionate stylist with 2.5 years of experience, proudly trained at Crave Beauty School. My journey into the world of styling began with a deep desire to help people look and feel their very best. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than witnessing the smiles and newfound confidence of clients as they leave my chair. A few fun facts about me: I’m an avid movie and TV buff with a love for all things pop culture. I’m also a big-time foodie who enjoys exploring new culinary delights. When I'm not at the salon, you’ll find me spending quality time with my three adorable pugs and my feathered friend, Q-Tip. I look forward to bringing out your best self and sharing in the joy of a great new look!

I’m Alfred Melchiorre, known as Al, and I bring 48 years of experience in the art of haircutting and hairdressing. My journey began in 1979 when I opened my first salon in New York, and in 1994, I expanded to Wichita, Kansas. Over these 45 years of ownership, I’ve earned a reputation as a respected name in the industry, driven by a passion for the craft and a commitment to excellence. I was drawn to this profession by its glamor and the challenge of becoming part of the top 1% in haircutting and hairstyling. My training at Altisma Beauty School in Flushing, Queens, New York, provided me with a solid foundation, specializing in custom haircutting and hairdressing. Each haircut I create is customized to fit my clients' features, hair types, personalities, and professions. My dedication to perfection ensures that every client receives a flawless, tailored experience. I pride myself on being approachable and personable, qualities that help create a comfortable environment for my clients. Honesty, integrity, and dignity are the cornerstones of my practice, and I treat everyone with the utmost respect and care. My perfectionism drives my exceptional service and reflects my unwavering dedication to my clients' satisfaction. Outside the salon, I have a passion for woodworking and detailing automobiles, especially classic cars. These interests mirror my commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail. Hi there! I'm Alexandria, and I've been immersed in the world of hair, makeup, and skincare for over 15 years. My journey began in cosmetics back in 2005, where I quickly discovered my passion for helping women feel beautiful. In 2008, I pursued formal training at cosmetology school, graduating in 2009 and diving into a career that's allowed me to work with top brands like Clinique, Aveda, and BareMinerals. Skincare holds a special place in my heart; as I always say, "Your makeup only looks as good as the skin underneath." I thrive on creating and maintaining beautiful haircuts and colors, ensuring my clients leave not only looking but feeling their best. Joining this new salon team has me buzzing with excitement! I bring a personalized touch to every client interaction. Specializing in customized makeup looks and practical haircuts that clients can effortlessly style at home, I'm all about empowering individuals to enhance their natural beauty. Hi, I’m Aya! Although I’m relatively new to the hairstyling world with 2 years of experience, my time at dé-al Salon has been incredibly fulfilling. My goal as a stylist is to make people feel wonderful about themselves, and I’m dedicated to achieving that every day. I trained at Sammy Heli Institute, where I developed a strong foundation in hairstyling techniques. I specialize in perms and Brazilian Blowouts, and I find immense joy in seeing the smiles on my clients' faces when they love their new look. A few things about me: I’m originally from Japan, so I speak Japanese fluently. I’m also a proud wife and mother of four children. For over a decade, I've been dedicated to my craft, and I absolutely love what I do—who wouldn’t want a career they’re passionate about? I trained at Xenon, where I developed a strong foundation in hairstyling. My specialties include haircutting, updos, extensions, and Brazilian Blowouts. I find particular joy in creating beautiful updos and meeting clients from all walks of life. Each new interaction and transformation fuels my enthusiasm for the art of hair.
